AVISTA GAS PLANT 55 is a resource-efficient gas engine oil and the best choice for a sustainable future. Thanks to a virtually waste-free base oil production process using patented technology and the recycling of natural raw materials, this product helps to protect the environment, health, natural resources and the climate in the long term. The base oil used in the corresponding proportion has been proven to save up to 1,530 kg/t CO2-eq compared to conventionally produced base oils. This product is AVIeCO2 qualified. AVISTA GAS PLANT 55 is formulated with high quality base oils and the state-of-the-art additive technology and has been specially developed and tested for use in combined heat and power plants. The excellent oxidation stability allows longer oil change intervals and the low evaporation loss leads to reduced oil consumption. In joint practical tests with experienced partners, oil running times of well over 6000 operating hours with an oil volume of 50 litres with a Lambda 1 controlled Toyota 4Y engine.
